Energy Healing

A RiverEvolutions Healing Session

People have asked me what an energy healing session with me is like.

I practice a form of energy healing called Chios. This modality includes techniques for repairing, clearing, and restoring the chakras and energy field. Sometimes this brings up incidents or impressions from the past that the client has buried or forgotten, and that can be intense. So I always let clients know up front that it’s possible for them to have this experience, and that I’m here to support them to the best of my ability. I’m not a mental health professional, but I can offer support and a listening ear, and can help someone find professional support if needed.

Right now, I’m only offering sessions by distance, because I don’t feel comfortable being around many people physically. I’m in the United States, where the pandemic is still raging, and both I and my husband are high-risk. So it’s safer for us to have me offer sessions from a distance.

Distance sessions, though, are just as effective as in-person sessions, because energy is not limited by space or time. Although I might be sitting in my office space in Massachusetts, I am using universal energy to perform the Chios techniques, and that energy will reach you no matter where you are.

A distance session with me begins with a short consultation over Zoom. During this, I’ll talk with you about your reasons for wanting a healing session and what you might anticipate experiencing. You’ll be able to share your hopes and expectations from the session and ask any questions you might have.

When the consultation is over, I’ll ask you to leave your electronic device and lie down for about half an hour. You’ll need to keep the device close enough that you’ll hear me contact you to let you know I’ve finished the energy work. You’re welcome to listen to music, preferably without lyrics, light candles or incense, fall asleep… whatever you need to be comfortable while I’m doing the energy work.

Once I’ve completed the energy work, I’ll contact you again over Zoom for what I call “debriefing.” During this time, I’ll tell you anything I noticed or did during the session, and you’ll be able to tell me what you experienced and ask additional questions. This part of the session might also include coaching to help you identify and work through thought and behavior patterns that are holding you back from embracing the power to heal.

The entire session including both consultation periods usually lasts about an hour, though I recommend allowing up to an hour and a half. Afterward, I’m available to you for up to a week by email if you have questions or concerns or need to process anything else that has come up as a result of the session. (For those who have already communicated with me over Facebook Messenger, that is another option for contacting me during this week.)

I’m happy to answer questions about how a Chios session would work, and to do so, I offer complimentary 20-minute inquiry calls over Zoom. If you’d like to schedule a call, please Contact Me!
